This Subscription & Refund Policy applies to all paid subscription plans offered by Maharaja Trading LLC through the Maharaja PDF Editor platform at maharajatrading.com. The Maharaja PDF Editor is a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product. As a digital software subscription, there are no physical goods shipped, delivered, or returned.
This policy governs: subscription management, billing, cancellation, plan changes, and refund eligibility. By subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
This Subscription & Refund Policy is a supplement to and should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Subscription Plans Overview
The Maharaja PDF Editor is available in the following subscription tiers:

3. Free Trial Terms
3.1. New users are eligible for a 14-day free trial of the Maharaja PDF Editor. During the trial period, you receive full access to all features of your selected plan tier.
3.2. No credit card or payment information is required to start a free trial.
3.3. The free trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. At the end of the 14-day trial, your access to premium features will expire unless you actively choose to subscribe to a paid plan.
3.4. There are no charges, fees, or financial obligations associated with the free trial, regardless of whether you choose to subscribe afterward.
3.5. Each user and organization is eligible for one (1) free trial. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional trial periods is a violation of our Terms of Service.
4. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
4.1. Unconditional Guarantee. All new paid subscriptions to Maharaja PDF Editor plans are covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you subscribe to a paid plan and are not satisfied with the service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days from the date your first payment was processed.
4.2. Full Refund. Refunds issued under the 14-day money-back guarantee are for the full subscription amount — no partial deductions, cancellation fees, or processing charges apply.
4.3. Eligibility. The 14-day money-back guarantee applies to:
- First-time paid subscriptions (monthly or annual)
- All plan tiers (Starter, Logistics Pro, Global Enterprise)
- Both monthly and annual billing cycles
4.4. How to Claim. To claim a refund under the money-back guarantee, email saas-sales@maharajatrading.com with the subject line "Refund Request" within 14 days of your first payment. Include your account email address and subscription plan. No reason is required.
4.5. Processing Time. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. Bank processing times may add an additional 3–5 business days depending on your financial institution.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1. Self-Service Cancellation. You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from your account dashboard (Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan). No phone call or support ticket is required.
5.2. End of Billing Period. Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual). You will continue to have full access to all paid features during this remaining period.
5.3. No Cancellation Fees. There are no early termination fees, cancellation penalties, or cancellation fees of any kind for any plan tier.
5.4. Data Retention After Cancellation. After your subscription expires following cancellation:
- Your account will be downgraded to a read-only state for 30 days
- You may download any processed documents from your secure storage during this 30-day window
- After 30 days, your uploaded documents and processed files will be permanently deleted from our servers
- Account profile data (name, email) will be retained for 24 months for re-activation purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy
6. Refund Eligibility & Exceptions
6.1. Eligible for Refund:
- First-time subscriptions within the 14-day money-back guarantee window
- Duplicate charges resulting from billing system errors (refunded in full immediately)
- Service outages exceeding SLA commitments (Enterprise plan: service credit or pro-rata refund)
- Charges processed after a confirmed cancellation due to system error
6.2. Not Eligible for Refund:
- Subscription renewals beyond the initial 14-day money-back guarantee period
- Mid-cycle cancellations (access continues until end of billing period, no pro-rata refund for unused time)
- Accounts terminated due to violation of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
- Annual subscriptions after 14 days from the initial payment date
- Failure to cancel before a renewal date — users are responsible for managing their subscription status
6.3. Exceptional Circumstances. In cases of documented exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, natural disasters, or significant service disruptions not covered by SLAs), we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. 7. Plan Changes & Upgrades
7.1. Upgrades. You may upgrade your plan at any time from your account dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately. You will be charged the pro-rata difference for the remaining days of your current billing cycle, and your next full billing cycle will reflect the new plan price.
7.2. Downgrades. You may downgrade your plan at any time. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You will retain access to your current plan's features until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for the difference between plan tiers within a billing cycle.
7.3. Billing Cycle Changes. You may switch between monthly and annual billing at any time. Switching from monthly to annual billing will take effect immediately and charge the annual rate. Switching from annual to monthly will take effect at the end of your current annual term.
8. Billing Cycle & Renewals
8.1. Auto-Renewal. Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless cancelled before the renewal date. We will charge the payment method on file for the then-current subscription price.
8.2. Renewal Notifications. We will send an email reminder 7 days before your annual subscription renewal date. Monthly subscriptions do not receive renewal reminders, as they are recurring recurring monthly charges by nature.
8.3. Failed Payments. If your payment method fails at renewal:
- We will send you a notification email immediately
- We will retry the charge after 3 days, then again after 7 days
- If payment cannot be collected after three attempts, your account will be suspended
- You may reactivate your account by updating your payment method and paying the outstanding balance within 30 days
9. How to Request a Refund
